The Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) is the only officially recognized Red Cross organization in Nepal. The NRCS is formally approved by the Government of Nepal and legally empowered to carry out its humanitarian mandate. NRCS carries out programs in disaster response, health, and community development. It works with national and international partners to serve the most vulnerable populations. The organization is guided by the seven fundamental principles, ensuring impartial and neutral service delivery.

भूकम्प, बाढी, पहिरो, आगलागी जस्ता विपद्को समयमा रेडक्रसले राहत सामग्री वितरण, अस्थायी आश्रय व्यवस्था, खाना र लत्ताकपडा आपूर्ति, तथा विपद् पूर्वतयारीका तालिमहरू सञ्चालन गर्छ।
रेडक्रसले नियमित तथा आपतकालीन रक्तदान कार्यक्रम आयोजना गर्छ। यसले अस्पताल तथा बिरामीहरूलाई आवश्यक रगत आपूर्ति गर्न सहयोग पुर्याउँछ। साथै, रक्तदाता नेटवर्क निर्माणमार्फत आपूर्ति व्यवस्थापन सुदृढ बनाइन्छ।
